ABOUT US

Because most students receive a minimal English education at school,  families send their children to private English centers in the evenings. Unfortunately, many families cannot afford to do so. Growing up in this village, I recognized that children were being left behind. This motivated me to open Bright Futures For Kids (BFFK) - a free and reduced English center for low-income children. We offer weekly classes, workshops and an open library for children between the ages of 6 and 11. Our goal is to give low-income students a space to practice and grow in their English skills, which in turn will help them open many doors for future employment and relationships

BFFK is based in Dien Ban District in Quang Nam Province, Vietnam. They offer classes 5 days a week from 5:30pm to 7:00pm - with workshops on Saturdays and Sundays.

The success of BFFK relies largely on the partnership of donors and volunteers. We always welcome volunteers from all over the world who may be travelling, working or studying in Vietnam and are interested in teaching children. The presence of foreign volunteers in our classroom allows the students an opportunity to learn about new cultures and practice their English - it is greatly beneficial!  Please see our 'get involved' and 'donate' pages for more information.
