Getting into teaching and volunteering

If you are interested in getting experience teaching English in a foreign country or volunteering whilst you are travelling, this is an ideal introduction. Ms Hoang plans the lessons in advance and provides you with the materials to teach alongside her. All you need to bring is lots of enthusiasm!

Whether you have experience or not you are a great resource to the class, as you are able to sound out the words correctly for the students. Being able to practice with an English speaker gives the students a new and exciting way to learn, which is very different from how students would usually learn in school.

As your knowledge and understanding of teaching English progresses, ideas for the class are warmly welcomed. Stories and cultures provided by the volunteers add further benefit to the students learning.

This is the perfect opportunity to immerse yourself into teaching in ‘local’ Vietnam, your participation will be appreciated no matter what level, just enjoy yourself!
